During the darkest moments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the elderly in our communities were forced to shelter at home as the virus disproportionately impacted older adults. From my perspective, the world became a shell of itself as the wisest among us were observing life through their window panes. This drawing, Missing You, worked through some of my sadness, as well as my hope for a return to brighter days.
